February's pack meeting was the Blue & Gold Banquet on Friday, 22 February 2013; hence, there will be no pack meeting on Tuesday, 26 February 2013.

Come join your friends as we go ice skating this Sunday afternoon at the Havertown Skatium.  Moms, Dads, brothers, sisters, even grandparents & friends, all are invited to join in the fun!  Even if you have never been on ice skates before, at $7 per person including ths skate rental, this is the time to try it!  Click on the event to the right for full details and directions.

Fall Family Camping - Ahoy Maties!

By popular demand, for our Fall Family Camping weekend we will be heading back to the "Pirate Ship" at Camp Garrison.  Activities will include hiking, games, fishing, and of course a Saturday evening campfire!  Sleep on the ship (40 bunks & matresses) or in your own tent on the lake shore.  The campsite includes a picnic pavilion, full kitchen, and flush toilets & showers.  This is great opportunity for the whole family to get away for a relaxing, fun weekend in the outdoors.  Cubs are invited to bring a friend and have them experience firsthand the fun and excitment of Cub Scouting.  The cost is $15 per person for food and campsite rental.  Sign up by logging in and clicking on the event under Event Registration to the right.

Every Cub Deserves a Trained Leader!

As of December 31,2011, all Cub Scout direct contact leaders are required to be fully trained.  Not to worry.  This training can be done online in the comfort and convenience of your own home.  Log onto your account on MyScouting.org (or create an account if you do not already have one) and click on "E-Learning" on the left navigation bar.  Cubmasters and Assistant Cubmasters need to complete Youth Protection Training and Cubmaster Position Specific Training.  Den Leaders need to complete Youth protection Training and their appropriate position-specific training, either Tiger Cub Leader, Den Leader (for Wolf & Bear Den Leaders), or Webelos Den Leader.  There are also online position specific trainings for Pack Committee members and Pack Trainers.

Custom '371' Unit Number Shoulder Patch Now Available

Custom, single red patches stitched with our white '371' unit numerals on them have arrived.  These are an attractive alternative to attaching three single number patches on the left shoulder of your uniform, and, at $3 per patch, is actually a slightly cheaper alternative.  Please see Cubmaster Bryan to purchase your custom unit number shoulder patch.

Go Cub Scout Green! Recycle and Re-use Out-Grown Uniforms

Go Cub Scout Green!  Recycle your old neckerchiefs, neckerchief slides, & hats and out-grown uniform shirts, pants, shorts, & belts by contributing them to our "Uniform Recycle Center" for reuse by younger Cubs.  To make a contribution or to see what is available from our Uniform Recycle Center, please contact Joann Badey at JBadey@Pack371.us.
